Romania: Data on barley harvest

According to data released by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Development 222,000 hectares of autumn barley were harvested with an average of 2,798 kg per hectare, which is far below estimations.

The poor harvest was in great measure influenced by heavy rains with which Romania has to struggle so far.
